Recovered Fuji Instant negatives

This week has been very topsy-turvy with my little office helper not here anymore. One of the ideas that came to light during our ‘ephemera’ event was the recovery of negatives from Fuji instant film. In the past I have chucked these into my waste bag and just scanned the print but today I recovered the negatives from 9 Fuji instant film photos I shot yesterday. The process is well documented elsewhere on-line  so take a look at these two examples. I really need to get into Wallace & Grommit mode and make a mask to hold these negatives on the scanner as you will notice Newton rings caused by them being laid on the bed weighted down with coins.

The blue cast has appeared on export so I’ll have to work on that but interesting results nevertheless.
