Apparently Fuji are upping their film prices this month by 20% owing to a worldwide hike in the price of silver of 50% in the last year. Couple that with lower demand for film then I suppose it is to be expected. I had noticed that Kodak prices are already up.

Still, a 5×4 negative scanned even on a flat bed scanner such as the Epson 750 will produce data like you have never seen before.

We should evangelise about film as often as we can in order to educate children of the digital age that not everything can be acheived by the swipe of a finger or the click of a mouse.
