I spent the middle of the day yesterday shooting Adox CHS Art 50 large format film primarily to release the dark slides for some other work.  These were processed in Rodinal at 1:25 using the latest iteration of the MOD54 insert. I know that the film is a tad distressed as this batch has always been for me but the new MOD54 left shadows and also scratched emulsion from the fingers that hold the film. On close inspection the swage lines from the injection moulding seem to be the issue. Not what I expected from an improved bit of kit. I’ll have to search around for other feedback as I have used the original MOD54 for 2 years, had the shadow sometimes but never damaged the emulsion.

Anyway the outcomes of the day were met as this was to employ movements for great depth of field.
