Fly tipping – here today, gone tomorrow

I have or should I say had found a new site to explore for my Edgelands project this past Tuesday. I re-visited the site today in impossibly bright conditions to find that my tableau of found offerings had mostly been cleared away.

The berries were still on the bare shrubs but the fly-tipped detritus had all but gone. I did however find another small pile of discarded waste dumped in the entrance of a field. That roll of film is in the soup so I’ll post some of those when it comes out.

I feel that one of these two images is the best large format photograph I have made. Which one do you think it is?
