I am a member of the Freudian Sheep artist group in Ipswich. Ian Moss and Eleanor May run this delightful establishment in St Helens Street, Ipswich. Each month there is a fresh exhibition of work in the gallery with open views taking place on the Saturday. We are quite an eclectic group and a few photographers regularly exhibit alongside artists working with other media. The spin-off from working with artists in other media is electric. I love the energy I tap into.
Setting up a gallery in straightened times is commendable. Art is what raises us above the animal kingdom at the end of the day and depressed economies seem to stimulate latent creativity in people.
Why not walk on down to St Helens Street? The work on offer suits many tastes and the host and hostess are very charming and welcoming. I have three pieces in this show.
