BA (Hons) Photography – a reflection by a mature (in years) student

Recently I was asked to write about my experiences as an older student studying for a photography degree. As regulars of this blog will know, I commented freely on the subject whilst I was a student. Since becoming a graduand, I officially graduate next Tuesday – 21st – Mrs O’s birthday, dry rot day, Trafalgar day and now graduation day, I have been awarded my ARPS. I have also joined the Contemporary group as what I tend to photograph when not shooting commercially are long term or theme based studies.

I wrote this article that has been published in the RPS Contemporary Times newsletter http://www.contemporarytimes.net/tomowens.pdf .
