A year ago today, a fellow student suffered a massive stroke whilst helping me hang an exhibition. I have never been so scared in my life. I cannot begin to think what he was feeling. Today he reminded us all via Social media that this was the anniversary. but that he was back in University  to finish his degree.

I witnessed many lame excuses in my three years studying. The sheer courage and determination and inner strength he has is unbelievable.

I wish him every success. He is a very talented artist and he did in fact paint himself better.
