I was out in my quest for new Edgelands locations yesterday morning. Was it cold or not?

I tagged some places but they need to be a Sunday morning job on account of traffic and other issues. Much of this fishing lake was frozen. I’m not sure what was cooking but this image makes me think of Alec Soth.

The light in this image typifies my golden hour quest. The far background is just about bathed in the overly bright sunrise of yesterday but just enough to warm up the frosty notice to recalcitrant anglers and others I expect.

I shot no film yesterday but very pleased with the effects from the D810.
