I have been steadily working through my stock of Portra 160 and called into the Kodak Pro lab today to collect the latest batch.
Every time I pick up my film it is like the very first time I saw a print emerge in a tray as a child. I have never lost, nor will I ever lose the excitement of seeing 12 perfectly exposed negatives neatly filed in their sleeves.
It is a case today of really having to cull many favourites. I have extracted just two for the timebeing until I settle my head.
Yesterday was extremely hectic with an 0445 start to get down to Felixstowe for some darkness shots of the MCS Oscar with the D810,
then off to Colchester to drop off the film I had been sitting on, then into UCS to present a session on our really good Lux Locus Auction from last year then UCS again for the Fine Art Auction where Mrs O and I picked up three very good buys.
On top of all this Kodak Alaris confirmed sponsorship for my forthcoming exhibition and I was buzzing.
Feeling the effects today though.
