Blue, today’s colour is blue

All of a sudden we have gone from Arctic conditions to typical British summer weather in about 48 hours. The wind is still from the North but what blue skies we get with a polar blast?

The clarity of the skies and the blueness is something I tune into at this time of year before we get befogged with dust pollen and other detritus. I could hardly see yesterday morning when I got back in from my cycle ride. I have not had red eyes like that for many years. Apparently the pollen count was rather high.

Talking of yesterday, I went up to town to the PV of ‘Yesterday’s News’ at the Platform just by Southwark tube. Well worth a visit. The three artists have created a very interesting gallery.
