It has been a wild week off and on with troughs ploughing from across the pond and it looks like a polar drift due next week. Topsy-turvy weather patterns play havoc with my wardrobe. One minute I am in Eskimo gear, the next I’m peeling off layers in sweltering in tropical heat, well that is relative at this time of the year.
I took time out today to catch up with a part-time student who started UCS with me in 2011. I really don’t know how part-time students manage to fit in what is crammed into a 3 year course. Anyway, I was minded of the light this morning and thought typically ‘Andy’ so after setting agendas for work later in the week I took some gear out for only the third time this year. Has it really been that grim or I have really been snowed under with other work?
Now, I’m sure many people would have disagreed with me about perfect light but is was cloudy and changing by the second, just about right for February, especially one being chased away by Atlantic troughs.
The thing about these massive soft-box days is the detail one can capture. It never ceases to amaze me and I’ve been doing this for years.
