This week has been hectic. We opened Trafalgar – the fifth  Art at Prettys collaboration  on Monday night. As curator, I found myself very busy showing around the Mayor and Mayoress plus the Provost of UCS. The evening was a blur and I ended up having to make a poor impromptu speech that I nearly blubbed in when I talked about Alex who suffered a stroke during the hang. We sold 8 pictures on the night and another 3 today so 11 in week one is a brilliant result.

I have felt so privileged to have been the curator for the last two shows but I am now taking a back seat and handing over command and control to the very able Mark Mann, who also won the  ‘best in show’ award.
