Street art July 2014

In my last blog, I mentioned bumming around Brick Lane waiting for the next cheap train home. I have visited the same sites in and around Brick Lane for several years now as the layers of artwork are constantly changing like the tide.

Here are a few from my favourite locations.

What I like about these places is that artists take some of what is there and add to it or in some cases obliterate it. The not so good does not seem to last very long. The torn paper in the Shreddies almost suggests another arm down his pants. Some of you may well recognise ‘End Less’ a small piece left over from at least three overpaintings ago.
